Lesmurdie Primary School is an Independent Public School catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Established in 1920, it is located in the picturesque bush of the Darling Ranges on the outskirts of Perth. Lesmurdie Primary School has a strong tradition of an engaged, connected school community and positive partnerships with parents and carers. The school values these relationships and seeks to strengthen and expand these connections.
Lesmurdie Primary School is going through an exciting transformation. From October 2021 to November 2023 we are replacing our outdated buildings with modern, purpose-built facilities.
The new facilities will provide our students with an ideal learning environment, offering them a great start to life. The redevelopment will benefit current and future generations of Lesmurdie children.
As part of the re-development Pineapple Planet created a new website and graphical style to reflect the geographical location of the school. Situated next to natural bush land in the hills of Perth a graphic image was developed that depicts the bush land and was carried through the website design and all documentation.
The result is a beautiful website design that can allow the school to communicate with their community during this exciting time of re-development.
On behalf of the school community, I would like to thank Pineapple Planet for our wonderful new website. We now have a visually appealing, clean, easy to navigate site enabling us to communicate effectively with our target audience. The engaging images of the students which Ian captured, effectively showcase our positive school environment. In developing the site, Ian was, at all times, helpful, responsive and accommodating of our wishes whilst guiding us to the best possible product.
The site is mobile friendly and readily accessible across a range of devices, allowing visitors easy access to the most important and up to date information first. We now have the ability to provide parents with regular updates and the latest news, improving school to home communications.
We are looking forward to working with Ian to explore opportunities to further develop and communicate our brand within the community.
